Swimming Carnival Season

After reviewing our feedback and speaking to members in person, we found that there were a number of members who either wanted more coaching and support, or conversely, desired absolutely zero interactions while working out.

True to our mission of improving health and fitness, we’re introducing a new initiative to better support our members, and further enhance fitness accessibility in Hedland.

The Orange Bands, or Assistance Bands, are designed for members who prefer additional coaching and guidance. Wearing this band signals to trainers that you’d like to receive additional support and instruction. Our trainers will keep a close eye on you and approach you when they get the chance to provide you with feedback and discuss your fitness goals.

If you’re new to the gym, asking for help may seem daunting. This band will help you start those conversations with trainers in the gym and provide you with ongoing assistance as you progress through your fitness journey.

The Black Bands, or Focus Bands, are designed for members who prefer to exercise without any distractions. Wearing this band signals to trainers that you’d prefer to workout uninterrupted. We understand that for a lot of our members, the gym is the only real ME time they get. If you wear one of these bands, our trainers will still keep on eye on you to make sure you’re exercising in a safe and responsible manner, but will otherwise leave you to your own devices.

Participation in this initiative is entirely voluntary, but encouraged for new members. This way, trainers can learn early-on about your preferences, and provide you with the level of support required to help you reach your fitness goals.
