We continually adapt our processes to ensure that we can fulfil our obligations as prescribed by the state’s updated COVID-19 policies, while also minimising the disruption to your routine as much as possible.
We know that it can sometimes be confusing, so we've compiled everything you need to know about upcoming COVID-19 policy changes into our new 'COVID-19 Information Centre'.
Below is a quick summary of Key Changes that will come into effect on 31/01/2022, but we highly recommend that you visit the information centre for more detailed information.
- All patrons aged 16 and over will be required to show proof of vaccination or have a medical exemption on entry of Wanangkura Stadium/Gratwick Fitness Centre
- South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gratwick Aquatic Centre (pool only) are currently excluded from these requirements
- Members will only need to show proof once – We’ll then make a note on the system and you can go about your routine as usual
- Proof can be shown via the ServiceWA App, or the Express Plus Medicare App
- Other digital and paper-based formats can also be used along with an acceptable form of identification – Click here for more info.
- Proof of age may be requested for patrons under 16
- Student ID
- Birth certificate
- Passport
- Citizenship certificate
- From 12pm on Sunday, 30/01/2022, member fobs will not work at Wanangkura Stadium or Gratwick Fitness Centre until proof has been sighted. Please be reminded that tailgating is strictly prohibited and members found intentionally allowing others entry into the facility will have their membership suspended/cancelled.
- Proof can be sighted at any time during staffed hours at Wanangkura Stadium
- Casual Visitors, including social sports participants and private booking attendees, will unfortunately need to provide proof of vaccination, or a medical exemption, on entry of each visit
