Community members are invited to have their say in the Town’s 2021 Live it, tell it, do it! Community Perception Survey, open until 5pm Sunday 5 December 2021.

The survey is used to gauge the community’s perception of how the Town is tracking in delivering services and facilities for the Hedland community.

Responses will be used to inform the review of the Town’s Strategic Community Plan 2018-28, ensuring priorities and decisions align with the community’s views.

Survey questions cover demographics, people, wellbeing, place, planet, prosperity, performance, and the future.

Responses to the Town’s 2019 survey informed the delivery of tangible outcomes for the community, including significant capital works investments across the LGA in recent years.

Mayor Peter Carter encouraged all residents 18 and older to complete the survey.

“It’s time to Live it, tell it, do it! I invite local residents to have their say in the Town’s 2021 community perception survey, now open for responses.

“This is an opportunity to have a say on what you think is going well in town, and where you’d like to see improvements.

“Particularly following the recent election of new Councillors and my re-election, Council is eager to hear about the community’s priorities and concerns so we can make informed decisions in Chambers.”
