Swimming Carnival Season

The primary schools in Port and South Hedland will be holding their Swimming Carnivals this year from March 5-26, with events taking place at both South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gratwick Aquatic Centre – Check table below for event times and locations.

These events provide students with the opportunity to showcase their swimming and life-saving skills and abilities, in a competitive, fun carnival environment.

• Please note that these facilities will be closed to the general public for the duration of each event, and mandatory contact tracing and social distancing measures apply to all attendees.
• Additionally, as per the directive from the Department of Health, unless it is an emergency, to reduce your risk of catching or spreading illness, please stay at home if you or your children feel sick. For more information, please contact the Aquatics Team.
