Pool Lifeguard (2 Day Course)

Becoming a pool lifeguard not only gives you the skills to save lives but also gives you opportunities to work abroad, start a career in the leisure industry or fund your studies. Pool lifeguarding is a fun and exciting job that will challenge you each and every day. The first step is to become qualified by attending a pool lifeguard course. This course will provide you with skills and knowledge in accident prevention, administration, public relations, education, scanning, communications, and water rescues in an aquatic facility environment. Australian lifeguards are world-renowned for their high level of skill and knowledge in accident prevention and rescue response.

Pool Lifeguard (Requalification Course)

Pool Lifeguard Awards are valid for one year from the date of your assessment. A Pool Lifeguard requires a high degree of judgement, knowledge, skill and fitness in both day to day guarding and the stress of an emergency. Regular update training helps sustain the lifeguard's confidence and ability to prevent accidents and respond competently when they occur.

Swim Teacher by Royal Life Saving

This course has been approved by the WA Department of Health, and will provide students with the skills, knowledge and qualifications to plan, deliver and assess swimming and water safety programs.

The Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion is recognised as the minimum standard for a qualified lifesaver. The Bronze Medallion Award is only valid for one year from the date the certificate was obtained.

Bronze Medallion (Requalification Course)

The Royal Life Saving Society Bronze Medallion is recognised as the minimum standard for a qualified lifesaver. The Bronze Medallion Award is only valid for one year from the date the certificate was obtained. Studies of skill and knowledge retention of trained people have shown that performance declines significantly if regular practice is not undertaken. Royal Life Saving recommends that all professional lifesaving qualifications are updated on an annual basis. This training course will update your RLSSWA Bronze Medallion award.

Multicultural Swimming Program

This program is designed for beginner students of all abilities, and aims to foster a greater degree of participation in swimming and water safety activities within Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities. Classes for men and women are held separately and structured to take into account various aspects of cultural sensitivity to help ensure that all participants feel comfortable, safe and secure.
