Heart Beat Club

Friday 23rd October 2026 - Saturday 24th October 2026

Heart Beat Club

What is Heart Beat Club?

Heart Beat Club is a community education initiative that aims to increase the general public's skills and confidence in CPR and first aid.

Drowning is the leading cause of preventable death among Australian children under five, and while active adult supervision is the best defence against drowning, prompt CPR in an emergency can make the difference between life and death.

Who is it for?

This course has been designed specifically for parents and carers of young children.

What will be covered?

Heart Beat Club equips parents and carers with essential infant and child CPR skills, along with first aid training for common childhood injuries and emergencies such as choking, burns, poisoning, falls and shock.

Participants will also learn practical injury prevention strategies and how to create a safer environment for children, helping to reduce the risk of serious accidents and injuries.

How do I sign up?

It's free to attend and there are two dates to choose from:

Friday, 23 October 10am-12pm South Hedland Lotteries House
Saturday, 24 October 10am-12pm South Hedland Lotteries House
