We continually adapt our processes to ensure that we can fulfil our obligations as prescribed by the state’s updated COVID-19 policies, while also minimising the disruption to your routine as much as possible.

We know that it can sometimes be confusing, so we've compiled everything you need to know about COVID-19 policy changes on our new 'COVID-19 Information Centre'.

Below is a quick summary of Key Changes that will come into effect on 21/02/2022, but we highly recommend that you visit the information centre for more detailed information.

  • Masks are required at all public indoor settings in WA except:
    • when engaged in some form of strenuous or vigorous exercise or physical activity;
    • consuming food/drink;
    • aged under 12; or
    • another exemption otherwise applies
  • At a minimum, all fitness venues in WA must maintain an average density of 2m2 per person
    • As a result, some gym equipment may be tagged out, or moved to a new area
    • If the gym equipment you usually use is unavailable, talk to a trainer for tips on alternative exercises

Please be advised that masks are required on arrival and will not be provided by the venue – Check your local pharmacist for stock availability.

If you have any enquiries, please call: (08) 9158 9750 or send an email to leisure@porthedland.wa.gov.au.
