For current members of Port Hedland Leisure, there may be a small increase in fortnightly membersip fees, however in many instances, there may actually be a price reduction.
Under the new fees and charges schedule, many resident will be eligible to access our new "Resident Ratepayers Pricing" for platinum memberships.
Resident Ratepayers Pricing reflects a $8 discount from current pricing, and $10.50 from new pricing.
To access Resident Ratepayers Pricing, members just need to present their rates notice at Wanangkura Stadium along with photo ID and proof of address.
The new member rates will come into effect on 30/10/2025 with the first associated payment occuring on the same day.
Why is the Town providing a discounted rate for residents?
The Town remains commited to improving health levels in the community, and increasing access to quality health and wellbeing services

What if I'm on the concession rate or a discounted corporate membership?
Unfortunately, no additional discounts are presently available for corporate/concession based memberships
However, if suited to individual circumstances, eligible resident rate payers can transition to Resident Ratepayers Pricing

What if I'm not a resident rate payer?
The fortnightly rate for Platinum Memberships will increase by $2.50 or 4.4% for everyone not eligible for Resident Ratepayers Pricing, Concession or Corporate Rates
This price change was adopted as a result of the Town's annual pricing review, and would be the first time since 2015 that pricing has increased

Will Resident Ratepayers Pricing apply to family memberships?
The new Resident Ratepayers Pricing only applies to individual memberships – Family memberships are already packaged to maximise savings!

Why are membership rates changing?
