For current members of Port Hedland Leisure, there will be a minor increase in fortnightly membersip fees as detailed below:
The new member rates will come into effect on 9/7/2026 with the first associated payment occurring on the same day.
To access Resident Ratepayers Pricing, members just need to present their rates notice at Wanangkura Stadium along with photo ID and proof of address.
Why is the Town providing a discounted rate for residents?
The Town remains commited to improving health levels in the community, and increasing access to quality health and wellbeing services.

What if I'm on the concession rate or a discounted corporate membership?
Platinum Concession Memberships are aligned with Resident Ratepayers Pricing and will increase to $50/Fortnight from July 9.

What if I'm not a resident rate payer?
The fortnightly rate for Platinum Memberships will increase by $1.50 for everyone not eligible for Resident Ratepayers Pricing, Concession or Corporate Rates.
This price change was adopted as a result of the Town's annual pricing review, and this will only be the second time since 2015 that pricing has increased.

Will Resident Ratepayers Pricing apply to family memberships?
Family memberships are already packaged to maximise savings and will increase to $120/Fortnight from July 9.

Why are membership rates changing?
The Town regularly reviews operations to ensure that facilities, programs and services continue to meet the growing needs of the community.
The price change to our Platinum Memberships was adopted in response to increasing costs, and will only be the second time since 2015 that pricing has increased.
What if I can't afford the new pricing structure?
We may have a different membership option better suited to your individual circumstances, please speak to one of our membership consultants at Wanangkura Stadium or send an email to leisure@porthedland.wa.gov.au
