Can I do something else?
Definitely! It's about challenging yourself and helping spread awareness on mental health. If you can't do ordinary push-ups, you can do push ups on your knees, against the wall, halve the daily target, or substitute push-ups with other exercises. If it isn't challenging enough for you, there are more advanced push-up variations you can integrate into your routine.
How do I register?
Just hit the button above and follow the on screen instructions! You can go at it solo, join our team, or even start your own!
Why the odd number? 3,307 push-ups?
3,307 signifies the number of Australians who died by suicide in 2024. The goal of the challenge is to put a spotlight on mental health and suicide prevention. We encourage everyone to get involved and tag your push-up photos with #pushforbetter
Am I too late to register?
Not at all! As the saying goes, better late than never! There is also a handy app which will help you keep track of your daily targets. If you fall behind, you can always catch up, but you can't get ahead. The number of push-ups per day are varied to help you build up your push-up capacity, while also educating participants on key health statistics.
