Upcoming Changes to Family Gold Memberships

We’re really excited about the range of new services that we’ll be rolling out over the coming months, and we’re sure members will be too. More features and functions are just round the corner, but there are also going to be some updates to how some memberships are structured.

Specifically, with Family Gold Memberships, you will keep your existing benefits and there’ll be no change to pricing at this stage, but each adult will need to have a personal membership to enable some of the more advanced features and functions we’ll be introducing.

Presently, your Family Gold Membership costs $96/fortnight for two adults.

When you transition to the new membership structure, the current primary account holder will now pay $56/fortnight, and the secondary account holder will pay $40/fortnight – No change to the total.

If you’re the primary account holder, your membership will transition automatically, however if you’re currently the secondary account holder, you will need to come into the Stadium to re-sign up for your personal membership.

We know it is a bit of a pain! But without change, there is no progress!

We’d love it if all secondary account holders could pop by the stadium between Tuesday, 21/05 and Friday, 31/05 to get all the paperwork done – Sooner the better to ensure everything goes smoothly!

What happens if you miss the cut-off date?

If the secondary account holder does not complete the sign-up process by 31/05, they won’t be able to access the facilities from 01/06. Additionally, the primary account holder will revert to an individual membership – meaning no crèche inclusions.

We’d hate it if any our members couldn’t get access when they wanted to, so we strongly encourage members to get everything sorted with time to spare!

Primary account holder? Secondary account holder?

Everyone forgets these things! You should have received an email from us recently with details on who the primary and secondary account holders are. If not, just send us an email and we'll get the details for you.

What if you can’t get to the Stadium?

Just send an email to leisure@porthedland.wa.gov.au with information on when you will be back in Hedland and we’ll try to work something out for you.

What if your Membership is a little different?

If you're signed up on a Family Membership without a secondary account holder, things are a little different and we'll contact you shortly to discuss the transition for you in more detail.
