The Town of Port Hedland is pleased to announce that Port Hedland Leisure is one of the two finalists for the WA Awards of Excellence – Best Regional / Rural Industry Contribution Award.
This award is presented by Parks & Leisure Australia, the peak national body for the sector, to recognise and showcase the initiatives, innovative efforts and exceptional contributions made by the industry.
”I am really proud of the team, the organisational culture we’ve fostered, and the various initiatives that we’ve implemented to provide the community with the best possible experience across all our facilities”, said Port Hedland Leisure Business Coordinator, Shane Hayes.
The winner will be announced on 12 May at the official awards ceremony in Wembley Downs. Award recipients from the state level will then proceed to the national awards which will take place in September 2021.
